Olive oil has long been known to be a good source of monounsaturated fats and confers benefits in terms of heart heath. A recent study in the Journal of the American Medical Association* adds to the evidence that a healthy diet has a more protective effect against breast cancer than just taking vitamin supplements.

Medicare Breast Prosthesis Reimbursement Program
Wednesday, 12 November 2008 21:58 All women who are permanent residents of Australia, have a current Medicare entitlement and have had a mastectomy as a result of breast cancer are now eligible to claim reimbursement for an external breast prosthesis. The mastectomy may be recent or in the past. The reimbursement program will commence December 1, 2008. However prostheses purchased from July 1, 2008 are eligible for reimbursement. Read more...
