It was a spectacular event on 12th of October with about 1100 bikes to celebrate Pink Ribbon Ride 2014. The Ride started from car park at Club Punchbowl and ended at Warragamba Dam.
The Ride was organized with very genuine cause of raising fund and awareness for Breast Cancer.
The 2nd Breast Care Nurse Practicum for 2014 was held from the 15th to the 19th September at the BCI.Three nurses attended the 5 days of lectures and clinical observership including time in operating suite and Radiotherapy. During the week the NSW Breast Cancer Interest Group meeting was held at the Lifehouse Centre at RPA.
The nurses had the opportunity to spend time sharing and discussing issues of interest to other breast care nurses from around Sydney and surrounds.
The week is made possible by the ongoing support and enthusiasm that the BCI and other Cancer care staff show to each of the nursing groups that attend the practicum 3 times a year.
